In Jakarta, Indonesia, the leading online fashion and lifestyle retailer ZALORA has unveiled its latest initiative, the ‘Zaloraya – Celebrate love that never goes out of style’ campaign. This innovative campaign is designed to embrace the spirit of Ramadan through exclusive merchandise offers, unique designer partnerships, and an evocative campaign film that captures the essence of familial bonds and the timeless nature of love and tradition.

A Tale of Sisterhood and Style

Central to the campaign is a touching film that portrays the evolving relationship between two sisters, Aamina and Aisha, set against the backdrop of the Hari Raya celebrations. The narrative delves into the complexities of their bond, highlighting the petty squabbles and deep-seated affection that define their relationship. As children, Aamina often found herself in the shadow of her older sister, yearning for a distinct identity. This desire for individuality is humorously depicted through her attempts to differentiate her style from Aisha’s.

However, the true spirit of Hari Raya brings an unexpected twist, as the sisters discover they’ve inadvertently gifted each other the same blue dress. This serendipitous exchange not only brings laughter but also a profound realization for Aamina: the beauty in continuity and the strength of their unspoken love.

Embracing Tradition with a Modern Twist

ZALORA’s ‘Zaloraya’ campaign, running until mid-April, aims to capture the hearts of its audience through a blend of traditional values and contemporary fashion. By leveraging social media platforms, including engaging Instagram stories and TikTok challenges, ZALORA seeks to create a vibrant community of followers who appreciate the fusion of modern style and enduring traditions.

Achint Setia, ZALORA’s Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer, eloquently sums up the essence of the campaign, stating, “Zaloraya transcends mere fashion; it’s a timeless celebration of enduring love and style. From our meticulously crafted films that embody this sentiment to our dynamic events that breathe life into our collections, we’re deeply honoured to resonate with the hearts of our customers.”
