Drools Launches Educational Campaign with Sara Ali Khan for Pet Nutrition Awareness

In a significant move to elevate pet nutrition awareness, Drools Pet Food Pvt. Ltd., a frontrunner in the Indian pet food industry, has rolled out its innovative “Back of the Pack” campaign. This initiative seeks to enlighten pet owners about the critical importance of scrutinizing pet food ingredients for the health and well-being of their furry family members. Bollywood sensation Sara Ali Khan has been roped in as the face of the campaign, underscoring the brand’s commitment to informed pet nutrition.

Empowering Pet Owners Through Education

The “Back of the Pack” campaign is a clarion call to pet parents to delve deeper into the contents of pet food packages. By highlighting the necessity of identifying wholesome ingredients like Real Chicken and Eggs and steering clear of vague descriptors such as “meat meal” or “by-products,” Drools aims to foster a community of well-informed pet owners. The initiative not only emphasizes the importance of transparency in pet food labeling but also encourages pet parents to select diets that cater specifically to their pets’ nutritional needs, thereby averting potential health issues associated with inferior quality by-products.

A Partnership for Pet Health

Commenting on the campaign, Dr. Shashank Sinha, CEO & Veterinarian at Drools Pet Food Pvt. Ltd., stressed the importance of vigilance in choosing pet food. “Just as we scrutinize the ingredients in our food, it’s imperative to do the same for our pets,” he stated. The collaboration with Sara Ali Khan as the new brand ambassador is a testament to Drools’ dedication to pet health and nutrition. Sara expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting her commitment to aiding pet parents in making educated choices for their pets’ dietary needs.

To further engage the pet-loving community and spread awareness, Drools has introduced the “Read the Back of Pack Challenge.” This interactive contest invites pet owners to share videos on Instagram, showcasing them reading the ingredient list from their pet food packages. By tagging @droolsindia and using specific hashtags, participants can encourage their followers to join the movement towards better pet nutrition. The challenge, running from February 20 to March 10, 2024, promises exciting rewards, including an international trip for the top 10 contestants and generous supplies of Drools Pet Food & Treats for other winners.

A Call to Action for Responsible Pet Ownership

Dr. Sinha’s invitation to pet lovers to participate in the challenge underscores a collective effort towards ensuring the health and happiness of pets across the nation. By choosing pet foods with real ingredients and zero by-products, pet owners can significantly contribute to their pets’ overall well-being.

This campaign marks a pivotal step in Drools’ ongoing mission to promote pet health through education and transparency, setting a new standard in the pet food industry.
